Weighing in at 700 gsm (grams per square meter), Abyss' Super Pile Towel in Ecru is among the most luxurious in the world. Finished with their signature bias trim, each towel is sewn, pre washed for shrinkage and then piece dyed to ensure the terry, the binding and the Abyss label are all color correct. Crafted in the Portugal countryside, Abyss is part of the Celso de Lemos family of linen companies. Choose from 60 colors and ten sizes. They are unmatched and renowned for extra softness, absorbency, and durability.
The towels are made using 100% Giza extra long staple Egyptian cotton in all three weaving directions (warp, weft, and pile), which is rare for towels. This extra-long staple cotton results in a strong fiber with minimal lint. Super Pile is a long-loop terry weave, which makes them incredibly plush, absorbent, and gives a spa-like feel. Reviewers praise their ability to dry the body quickly.
